What is there to say about the Top 16 showdown on last week’s American Idol? After a whirlwind promotional tour surrounding the release of his new album, When Everything Breaks Open, Matt Morris has found his way back home to Denver, Colorado.  In the past couple of months, Morris has gone from singer-songwriter to star – performing with Justin Timberlake on the Hope For Haiti Telethon, singing for Ellen DeGeneres, George Lopez, and David Letterman, and appearing on multiple local and cable shows.  But it was in his hometown where the very humble and grounded performer got to experience some of his new found popularity for, what seemed like, the first time.
