How Could You Be So Heartless
Lady Gaga gave fans a little taste of what they might see on her upcoming tour with Kanye West last night, when she covered his hit, “Heartless”. Check out the pop diva’s version below and keep checking in for the tour dates, which should be announced soon.

T.M.T.H.
Before Adam Lambert was another controversial Idol contestant. However, Danny Noriega didn’t have the pipes that Lambert does and so his time on the hit show was short lived. But, even though his time on live T.V. was short, his time in the spotlight continued. He appeared on Rosie O’Donnell’s cruise as a featured performer and continued to make headlines across the nation. And not to be out done by Lambert, Danny has released his first single, “24/7”, which is paired with a horrible music video. And while this song doesn’t scream Top 40 smash, I am sure gay clubs all over the nation will be playing this single. It’s…

Kanye To Share the Spotlight?
Kanye West is preparing to hit the road for a big U.S. tour, but he won’t be traveling alone. It was announced last week that Lady GaGa and Kanye will share the bill for one long set as part of a national tour, probably because West wouldn’t be able to sell out without some major support. And even though I can’t stand Kanye’s cocky attitude, I do appreciate what he’s done for music. As for Lady GaGa, the “lady” is unstoppable! She currently has three singles in the top 10 and is burning up radio stations everywhere. The Idol Insider has been wanting to bring you some Lady-inspired posts for…

Takin’ Over "Paradiso"
As Idol Insider’s favorite new troupe of ladies continue to tour the U.S. promoting their new single, “Patron Tequila”, they made a stop at the NewNextNow Awards to perform with collaborator, Eve, for the first time ever on TV. The awards aired on Saturday night on Logo, but we have the full performance for you here. The girls, of course, killed it. It sure is nice to see them all share the spotlight. And watch with caution all, this song tends to get stuck in your head for days and days and days…right Angel?! Also, the girls re-released their video for “Patron Tequila” on Monday. The updated video includes more…

20/20 Vision
Adam Lambert was on 20/20 last week to discuss his recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine. The interview, with Chris Connelly, touched on his run on Idol, growing up, and, of course, coming out. If you missed the interview, have no fear – check it out below, along with an exclusive interview with Lambert’s brother that did not air on the original telecast. Also, Adam recently won a Young Hollywood award for Artist of the Year, which was presented to him by Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi. This news made us wonder, can you even be nominated for an Artist of the Year award without an album? And, “Wait…who won Idol…

The Return of Zack Morris
I know this is a non-music related post, but it’s nostalgic! In his attempts to reunite the Saved By The Bell cast, Jimmy Fallon had Mark Paul Gosselar on his show Monday night. Check out this hilarious interview where Gosselar stopped by in character of Zack Morris, high tops, tight rolled jeans, cell phone and all. Now, that’s a blast from the past! Gosselar also confirms that he and Elizabeth Berkley, Jesse Spano, will be in for the reunion, leaving just Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly) and Dustin Diamond (Screech) left to confirm their appearances. We sure can’t wait to see Tiffani Thiessen’s return to our television sets – I hope she…

I’ve Had Some Coke
Kelly Clarkson is still in Australia promoting her new album, “All I Ever Wanted”. At one of the interviews, she made a harmless comment that had a completely different meaning. It’s hysterical and captures the reason we love her so much! Check it out!

Three’s Company
The season just ended and already Idol contestants are getting signed to record deals. It comes as no surprise that Kris Allen would be signed to a deal, since he won this year’s competition, but it was confirmed this week that he will be joining Britney Spears, Ciara and fellow Idol, Jordin Sparks, on Jive Records. Kris announced his excitement in joining Jive’s roster, as well as saying he can’t wait to start work on his album, which will feature music much like what we heard from him on the show. Also, not surprisingly, Adam Lambert will be recording an album for release in the fall/early winter, which will feature…

"I’m A Little Bit Square"
As she promised, Tiffanie Anderson, officially announced her departure from Girlicious yesterday on her YouTube page. In the announcement, she explains that she was let go due to a change in the direction of the group – making the group less urban, which is why she was initially chosen. Less urban? So she was let go due to the color of her skin? I guess Chrystina is safe because she’s only half “urban”. And Tiffanie says she found out about the “new direction” and new label (??) at the airport. Really? Wonder how that all went down and I wish someone would have caught that moment for YouTube. Tiffanie stayed…

Jordin Sparks’ "Battlefield"
Jordin Sparks, winner of American Idol season 6, is prepping the release of her sophomore album, Battlefield. The album artwork (above) was recently released and her single of the same name has already been burning up the airwaves and iTunes charts. She is working with some of today’s top producers and writers for the follow up to her mega-successful debut album. Battlefield will be in stores and on iTunes on July 21st, but in the meantime we are pleased to bring you the debut video of the album’s first single, “Battlefield”, as well as a clip of Jordin working in the studio on 4 other tracks. “Vertigo” sounds like a…

Circus Continues
Britney Spears has brought fans her “Circus” worldwide for the majority of 2009. The Queen of Pop, who has been in London for the past few days, added some new remixes and songs to her set, which initially launched in the U.S.. The most noticeable change is the addition of “Gimme More”, which was unbelievably absent from her U.S. tour dates. And now, The Circus Tour, which has become the highest grossing in the United States in 2009, has been extended! In September, Britney will make her back to the U.S. for a second leg of the tour, then she will take over Australia for the first time in November.…
