Janet Jackson made a surprising appearance at the BET Awards last night to speak on behalf of the family. It was a touching and moving moment for the awards show, which paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson in many ways. As you all know by now, it has been a devastating week in the entertainment industry. First, Ed McMahon passed away and then yesterday morning Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer. But it was the news the the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had suffered cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon and died shortly after that left the world stunned. Forgetting Danny Gokey
During his recent visit to his hometown of Milwaukee, Danny Gokey, chose to sing “Billie Jean”, his song choice for the Michael Jackson themed show. Unfortunately for Mr. Gokey, he didn’t bother to practice or learn the lyrics. At the very beginning of the performance, his lyric sheet blew away and he proceeds to spend the rest of the song stumbling around like a real amateur.
