Now that it’s the new year, I think I am finally over the news of Carrie Underwood‘s engagement, and am ready to move on with my own, real life. Yesterday Carrie Underwood’s rep confirmed the news that Mike Fisher, her boyfriend of a year, had proposed to the country cutie. Of course, this news devastates me, leading me to spend most of the night in a dark room, drinking a bottle of whiskey, and singing “Jesus Take The Wheel” on repeat. But, now I have emerged to bring you the first photo of the bling that blinded Carrie as she accepted the proposal. Quite a Christmas present, I guess. Leona Lewis provides the theme song to the upcoming blockbuster event, Avatar. And while the track is no “My Heart Will Go On”, I am sure that producers are already clearing Leona’s schedule so she can take the stage at the Academy Awards to perform the song, “I See You”. I’ve seen multiple trailers for this film and I am still unsure what it’s about, but I guess I’ll check it out when it arrives in theaters.
