Introducing: Amanda Valentine

Last week, I announced the roll out of contributing writers to expand the the ‘LIV‘ brand with the inclusion of Feys Design Founder, Joe Feys (if you missed Joe’s first contribution to his “Feys Lift” column, check out “Tasteful Spaceshere). Today, I am thrilled to announce the second contributing writer for Listen! It’s VetranoAmanda Valentine, who will dole out her unique prescription of advice to help readers sort out their daily woes in the new column “#AskAmanda.”

Amanda is the founder of VALENTINE VALENTINE, a Nashville-based clothing and accessory collection, and celebrity stylist. In 2013, Valentine was selected as a designer to compete on the eleventh season of Lifetime’s hit series Project Runway. Following the success of her appearance on the series and showing at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Valentine was voted back by fans to compete on the 13th Season of the fashion competition, in which she placed 2nd.

A move to Music City was a natural fit for the former bass player from Los Angeles, whose styling projects include CMT, Verizon Wireless, The Cadillac Three and Motely Crue. Valentine launched her ready-to-wear line of rock ‘n’ roll inspired, modern women’s wear in 2010 and recently expanded her clothing to include higher end items under the AMANDA VALENTINE label.  Featuring jewelry and clothing inspired by her Project Runway finale collection shown at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014, the AMANDA VALENTINE collection is available online now.

In addition to her design brand, Amanda has styled projects for major label artists, television stars and has created custom pieces for Family Force 5, Grammy Award winning Esperanza Spalding and Twenty One Pilots.
