After a three week vacation, soaking up the Destin, Florida sun, eating fancy and delicious foods, drinking my weight in booze and enjoying summer festivities, I returned to work mode this week. Let me tell you, nothing smacks you in the face quite like getting “back to reality.” Well except perhaps those Housewives who literally smack each other in the face on their reality shows. When Meghan Linsey reemerged on our television screens this spring as a contestant on NBC’s latest season of The Voice, many balked at the singer’s decision to tryout for the singing series. Her resume already included a win on a reality singing competition, CMT’s Can You Duet, and three Top 20 singles with her country duo Steel Magnolia. Album Review: Adam Lambert ‘The Original High’
On June 16th, Adam Lambert will release The Original High, his third studio album. The first on Warner Bros. Records, who he signed with after parting ways with RCA Records late last year. In April, the former American Idol finalist released the album’s lead single “Ghost Town,” which is already showing well on the charts and radio. There’s no doubt that the reunion with his “Whatya Want From Me” co-writer Max Martin and Shellback, who serve as the album’s Executive Producers, contributed to it’s early buzz.
