Britney Goes "Ooh La La" For The Smurfs
Britney Spears debuted her new single “Ooh La La” during On Air with Ryan Seacrest early this morning. Spears said she recorded the song, which is part of the new Smurfs sequel The Smurfs 2, for her sons – Sean Preston and Jayden James – who love the first film. The youngsters will also appear in the single’s video, which is expected to drop next week. While the song is something a little more kid-friendly than her previous efforts, Britney confirmed her new album, produced by Will.I.Am. is in the beginning stages and is expected to be more adult, during her interview with Seacrest. And while she wouldn’t confirm the…

Fifth Harmony’s Moves On From The X Factor
Last year, Simon Cowell and his team saw the potential in five individual girls who were auditioning for the second season of The X Factor USA. Those five girls – Dinah-Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton and Lauren Jauregui – became Fifth Harmony on the series. Not unlike Cowell’s One Direction (who were similarly put together on the UK version of the series), these ladies struck an immediate chord with America as they sailed through to the season’s finale. Placing third, it wasn’t long after the show that Cowell snatched them up and put them to work on their debut. The release of their first record is still…

First Listen: The Civil Wars "The One That Got Away"
Nashville’s Cinderella story, The Civil Wars, were on top of their game: Grammy’s, praise from even the harshest critics and a hit album. Then, with very little notice, it was over. John Paul White and Joy Williams announced their hiatus late last year, which quickly spread, and it seemed the band who were about to secure their place in music history had ended. Earlier this year though, the band announced that their second album – the first on Sony Music – would indeed be released. And while fans and critics rejoiced, it was surely a question if the duo, who were clearly broken, would have the same chemistry that won…

What The GIF? Vol. 6
It’s that time of year again. For one (very long) weekend in June, Nashville is invaded by the fried-food loving, cowboy boot wearing country fans that flood the downtown streets in hopes of getting a glimpse of their favorite country superstars. Superstars who aren’t anywhere to be found other than their black SUVs and on the main stage at LP Field. But still, this long time tradition once known simply as Fan Fair is a Music City staple. Nashville residents – if not working the festival or with one of the artists playing the festival – typically take the long weekend to travel out of state or hibernate, catching up on…

Video Premiere: Taylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran "Everything Has Changed"
Taylor Swift‘s latest single “Everything Has Changed,” which features her Red tour’s opening act Ed Sheeran, now has an innocently sweet accompanying video. The clip, released on Vevo today, follows the budding friendship between two adorable children – who just happen to be the exact doppelgängers of Swift and Sheeran. Unlike Swift’s previous videos, the singer-songwriter doesn’t appear in the video until the final moments where she and Sheeran make brief cameos. The single, from Swift’s smash hit album Red, follows mega-successful hits “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Begin Again,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “22.” The duo, who both appeared on last night’s CMT Awards will continue…
