Cheers to You, 2018!

Listen, I don’t mean to brag, but 2018 was a record year for me.

I settled into my new East Nashville home, traveled more than I have in the last five years combined, saw almost ALL of my family (that never happens), and was promoted to manage the customer experience for Lyft’s bikes and scooters. Oh, and just one more small thing. I got freakin’ married!!

While 2018 has been a whirlwind year, I am so grateful for what’s coming next. The unknown.

This time last year, I knew 2018 had a lot of excitement to come. I mean with a wedding and all, you can pretty much predict good times galore. In March, we traveled to Chattanooga for our joint bachelor party weekend, got married in May, and hosted a truckload of family and friends at our casa for a celebratory brunch. This year was lit!

But this time around I don’t have much known on the horizon. I’ll be traveling much more (some work, some play) and continuing to learn the wonderful world of adulting and domesticating with my husband. So grown. Other than that, I’m open to what’s coming my way. And that feels damn good! When life is moving as fast as it does, the unknown can be quite exhilarating.

So bring it on, 2019… I am ready!

What does 2019 have in store for you, babes? Share your plans or wishes to fill your unknown in the comments below and I will see you in the new year!

Oh, and if you’re looking for some jams to kickstart your 2019, here’s my Top Songs of 2018 playlist.
