Introducing: Joe Feys

Today marks the launch of a new chapter of the Listen! It’s Vetrano brand. Over the next few months, I’ll be rolling out some exciting new features, content pieces and platforms to deliver you more V for Vetrano than ever. And I am thrilled to kick things off with the announcement and addition of contributing writers, who will be introduced over the next few weeks and will round out the LIV content.

First up, Joe Feys, who will be charming readers with his hilarious and educational take on design, architecture, food and beauty regularly in his column “Feys Lift.” Besides being one of my favorite people to talk about music and food with, Joe Feys is one of Nashville’s most prominent new designers, leading one of the regions most versatile full service-design firms. Before launching Feys Design, he received his education at Parson’s School of Design in New York and Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Georgia, where he was a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

After grabbing first place honors at the Steelcase sponsored design competition for his redesign of the company’s Downtown Atlanta headquarters, Joe returned to his roots in Nashville. Now back in the burgeoning city where he grew up, he focuses on bringing his award-winning design aesthetic to Music City’s elite. His designs have also been featured to motivate aspiring designers and his work was selected for Fletcher Martin’s remodel in 2008.

Interior design and architecture projects are not just a career for Joe – it’s his passion. He loves meeting interesting and eclectic people, and enjoys the variety of experiences a design career provides. Feys Design does more than interiors – they offer services such as space planning, designing for events, holidays and occasions, landscaping and interior architectural detailing. For more information about Feys Design services or to schedule a consultation, visit FeysDesign.com.

You can read the first installment of “Feys Lift” that appeared on Listen! It’s Vetrano in December entitled “No Tree? No Problem” now. And be on the look out for Feys’ second contribution early next week.
