    RHONY: Back Off of Bethenny

    June 15, 2015 /

Bethenny Frankel Returns To Hostile Housewives on This Season’s Real Housewives of New York When Bethenny Frankel made the decision to return to the series that followed her rise from struggling single lady to a household name and mogul, it was unclear where she’d fit in with the group of women. Since her time on the Real Housewives of New York, the cast of Big Apple ladies has changed, with only a few of the original women intact. The series now includes several newcomers and a few whom Frankel originally filmed with, but were often times her rivals in the early seasons. Add a painfully public divorce and custody battle that has Bethenny fighting to…

Meghan Linsey Stops By the ‘Listen! It’s Vetrano’ Weekly Web Series for a Speed Round Interview This week’s all new episode of Listen! It’s Vetrano features a singer that’s no stranger to being in front of a camera. The Voice‘s Meghan Linsey returned to Nashville after placing second on the hit series and immediately hit the studio to record her new soulful pop-rock record. In between the “oohs” and “ahhs” of recording, I sat down with the powerhouse vocalist to talk about the show, her new music and play the 60-Second Interview Challenge. And because I love y’all so much I put an extra thirty seconds on the clock. 😉 Watch as Meghan Linsey does her…

    CMT Music Awards 2015 Recap

    June 11, 2015 /

Carrie Underwood Puts the “C” in the CMT Music Awards 2015 Show Last night, Nashville’s biggest week —CMA Fest / Fan Fair — kicked off with CMT hosting their annual awards show (CMT Music Awards 2015) to honor the top music videos of the year. The country crowd arrived at Downtown Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, while oddly selected –and paired– hosts Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow prepared for the big show. The men dressed down this year, while the women sexed it up. Perhaps fueling more conversation for the tomato vs. lettuce debate, the ladies dressed up more than a salad in Nashville Wednesday. And of all days, Hump Day. The…

Meghan Linsey: More Than The Voice

    June 9, 2015 /

When Meghan Linsey reemerged on our television screens this spring as a contestant on NBC’s latest season of The Voice, many balked at the singer’s decision to tryout for the singing series. Her resume already included a win on a reality singing competition, CMT’s Can You Duet, and three Top 20 singles with her country duo Steel Magnolia. But what many seemed to forget was that, though her previous endeavors in music were thrilling, she was starting this journey on the same playing field as the many others hoping to turn a chair. Sure, she may have been a seasoned television starlet with opportunities to tour with major acts, including Reba, Brad Paisley and even her Voice coach Blake Shelton, but…

Album Review: Adam Lambert ‘The Original High’

    June 8, 2015 /

On June 16th, Adam Lambert will release The Original High, his third studio album. The first on Warner Bros. Records, who he signed with after parting ways with RCA Records late last year. In April, the former American Idol finalist released the album’s lead single “Ghost Town,” which is already showing well on the charts and radio. There’s no doubt that the reunion with his “Whatya Want From Me” co-writer Max Martin and Shellback, who serve as the album’s Executive Producers, contributed to it’s early buzz. While Lambert is perhaps the most controversial — and vocally talented– contestant from American Idol‘s 14 seasons, his need for reinvention was clear after his first two efforts fell flat with the masses.…

All Hail M’Queen: Girl On The Road

    June 2, 2015 /

Hey babes and lovers! It’s your girl, Anna M’Queen back for another installment of All Hail M’Queen, my monthly column for Listen! It’s Vetrano. Being in bands most of my life, I get questions all the time about what life is like as “the girl on the road,” especially with a group of guys. So, let me break it down. Being a girl on the road, there are several dilemmas that I face. They’re not necessarily about being a girl, but more about being the frontwoman of a traveling band. When it comes to packing, this can be one of the most stressful and tedious things I go through before hitting the…

    Album Review: Five Knives ‘Savages’

    June 1, 2015 /

Five Knives Savages Combines Pop Appeal with Electronic Beats and Rock Personality When I named electronic pop-rockers Five Knives the Artist to Watch in 2012, I never expected their debut album would (finally!) drop more than three years later. To be fair, the band released The Rising, an EP featuring five updated mixes of the band’s best tracks from before they inked a deal with Red Bull Records, in 2013. And now, after a handful of successful viral music videos, a stint on the Van’s Warped Tour and endless opening slots for bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and Twenty One Pilots, the born-to-be headliners drop the most exciting album of the year, Savages. Five Knives debut…

Adam Levine Gets Cheeky in New Maroon 5 Video

    May 31, 2015 /

Maroon 5 released their music video for ‘This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf–ker,’ and it kicks off with a very naked Adam Levine. When it comes to some skin in music videos, Adam Levine never lets us down. But the typically shirtless frontman shocked his fans –and just about broke the internet– when he surprise released Maroon 5‘s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf–ker” music video, which shows a fully naked Adam Levine. The music video, which already pushes limits with it’s controversial and gratuitous language, opens with Adam stepping out of a very steamy shower. Cleverly wrapping his towel around his waist before going to change his clothes, Adam teases audiences with some…
