Rihanna Asks Nashville’s Mikky Ekko to "Stay"
It’s no secret that Nashville is packed full of talent, but while most of the attention that falls on Music City is reserved for its Country royalty, the city has earned major street-cred in other genres this year as well. In fact, Rolling Stone magazine named Nashville the nation’s Best Music Scene early this year and GQ featured the city’s scene in an 8-page editorial spread. This year also granted me access to some new discovery, as I traveled to music festivals across the country, including South By Southwest and The UMS, discovering bright new gems to add to my ever growing playlist. And finally, my year ended with a move east to the “Crazy Town”: Nashville, Tennessee.…

Guess Who?
The once “retired” rapper, Eminem, is back with a brand new album, Relapse, which will be out May 19. And if that wasn’t enough of Slim Shady himself, he’s rumored to be releasing a second LP, creatively titled Relapse 2, by the end of 2009. So, whether you love him or hate him – there is no gray area here – get ready to see a lot of him. And in true Shady-style, he’s released his first single from the disc, which pokes fun at multiple celebrities. “We Made You”, the lead single, is being released to radio today and the Idol Insider is happy to bring you the premiere…
