✨40✨

Over the past two weeks, my friends and family have been celebrating me in ways I could never imagine. From Nashville to Charleston, I was showered with birthday celebration and love. Turning 40 never scared me. But as the day approached, I questioned if I was ready for this new chapter. A transformational time in my life, I began to reflect on what being 40 would mean to me. And then, just like that, I was surrounded by people who reminded me of the memories made in the first 40 years and a promise of what was to come.

To the friends and family who celebrated me with encouraging notes or who were by my side for the fun, I thank you. It’s humbling to feel as celebrated as I was this last couple of weeks. I’m forever grateful to you all. And an extra special shout out, and note of thanks, to my husband. @joe__face, you never cease to amaze me with your generosity and love. This next chapter feels less unsure because I know you’re standing by me. I love you.

I love you all. You have made this 40 year old feel 20 again — at least in spirit. Now, I need a nap.

Had the most beautiful weekend in Los Angeles to celebrate our @rachel819. The wedding and all of it’s festivities were spectacular and have set a bar that only Rachel can reach. I was blown away by the hospitality of her entire family (new and old). From rooftop toasts to the 5-star wedding and Polo Club brunch, each moment was more breathtaking than the last. Mazel Tov, Rachel and Adam!

Plus, getting to spend some quality time, and eating some of the best food, with @joshuaalanr and @benjhack was a real treat. Thank you both for hosting us and putting up with us (IYKYK) during this unforgettable weekend. We owe you and hope to see you again soon!
