Take 5: CMT’s Cody Alan

What is your go-to karaoke song?

CMT’s Cody Alan: Ignition by R. Kelly

Who would win in an epic battle of country music divas: Carrie, Faith or Reba?

Cody: I’m going with Reba. Trust me, Carrie and Faith would both pick Reba to win too! She’s amazing. Talented, genuine with longevity to boot! Maybe I should choose Carrie because I did meet my man at a Carrie concert.  But I could listen to Faith Hill sing all day long!! Hmmmmm this is a tough one!

What is your favorite city to visit and where is your favorite place to go when visiting?

Cody: I love Salt Lake City, Utah. I was Mormon, so I know it well. It’s a hidden gem, truly beautiful with the most gorgeous mountain resorts all around.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Cody: Oreos. Try to eat just one. No human can!

Who’s your favorite new artist on the country music scene?

Cody: Tons of great new artists who I love right now- Walker Hayes, Ryan Kinder, Devin Dawson, Carly Pearce, Jon Pardi to name a few!
