Are You Listening?

Well hello there. For those who don’t know me, I’m Chris Vetrano (or V for Vetrano to some of my friends and followers).

You might be here because you have been a longtime reader of my music blog Tragic Kingdom, or perhaps you stumbled upon Listen! It’s Vetrano for the first time. Either way, thank you for coming. Can I get you a drink? You know I’m sipping one, so you might as well.

I’m excited to launch what I’ve been building for the past year, since the launch of my YouTube series of the same name. After more than 10 years of sharing my thoughts and sometimes annoyingly honest opinions on music, I am expanding my online writing brand to include even more snarky, thoughtful and at times crude stories and reviews from the other passions in my life. While music is one of the deepest passions in my life, working in the industry over the past few years left me a bit jaded and disappointed with how it was shaping up. Don’t get me wrong, music is still a HUGE part of the V for Vetrano story and there will be plenty of it here, but as I enter a new phase of my life (yep, I am 30 now…), I’m spreading my wings exploring other parts of entertainment, tasting new cuisines and traveling to new places — experiencing things for the first time — and taking you all on the journey with me.

Here, you’ll find my review on new restaurants popping up around the globe, interviews with local and national talents and even hear from some new faces about topics that I have not yet fully explored. Along with the new Listen! It’s Vetrano site, don’t forget I’ve got my newly relaunched YouTube series that will bring you even more. You can check out some of the first test episodes with my friends Cassadee Pope and Amanda Valentine now, but be sure to Subscribe while you’re there because there are new videos on the way that you won’t want to miss.

So, let’s do this! Start pursuing some of the first posts and don’t forget to comment and let me know what you’d like to see more of in the coming weeks.
