Before Josiah Leming hit the road for his 75+ city ‘Listen Close Tour’, I sat down with the singer to chat about his music, life on the road and what’s next. Then, once we got the traditional stuff out of the way, I asked him to Take 5 and give us the dirt on 5 things unrelated to his music.

1. What is your go-to karaoke tune? When was the last time you performed it?

Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver. Hmm..November 2012? Somewhere around then.

2. What’s the cheesiest reality TV show you’re afraid to admit you watch, or have watched?

Cheesiest? Hmm….. Man, I don’t know about cheesiest, but I love that damn moonshiners show! Like, really love it. Jim Tom forever! Haha!

3. Movies or books? And what was your favorite of your answer from last year?

Ahhhh, that’s tough. I like books better, but I don’t make time to read them these days. They let you imagine more. But I’m gonna have to say movies, and Argo was the best movie I’ve seen in a long long time. I’m not alone in that opinion though.

4. Who would win in an epic comic battle: Batman or Spiderman?

The Hulk would smash them both! 

5. I think I know the answer to this next one, but Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez?

What? What? What! Said no one ever hahaha. Demi forever. My guiltiest pleasure.
