Take 5: Marié Digby
We all love to know what inspires our favorite stars and we want to know what – or who – is behind our favorite lyrics. But why so serious all the time? Take 5 is Tragic Kingdom’s regular feature that sheds some light on the questions that you really want to know, but might never ask.
1. If you were stranded on a deserted island without food or electricity and could only have 5 things with you, what would they be? And why?
- My glasses. Without them I`d be blind and I’d die almost immediately. Plus, I could start fires and cook stuff,
- A gun with plenty of ammo,
- A harp, so I can at least write some heavenly music to pass the time,
- A gigantic box of dark chocolates – my drug of choice, and
- Loads of sunblock because I am the same shade as a corpse.
2. Where is your favorite place to travel when not working on, or touring for, music?
Salzburg, Austria is breathtakingly beautiful. I could stare at glacier lakes and the Austrian Alps forever.
3. When not entertaining crowds of people with your music or writing, what do you do for fun during downtime?
I bake cookies and do other grandmother-ly things. I`m a total homebody.. I pretty much need to be dragged out to go to bars or clubs.
4. If you were cast on Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, what would your opening tagline be?
“I may seem like a sweet girl but if you mess with me I will go MMA [Mixed Martial Arts] on your ass.”
5. The most important question of all: ‘NSYNC or BSB?
Keeping it real? Sepultura … but I guess I could go with ‘NSYNC because they had Justin, he has good hair.
