Take 5: The CO’s Collin Brace
1. What is your favorite city to visit and where’s your favorite spot to go when visiting it?
Favorite city to visit has to be Estes Park, Colorado. Its like a mirror image of my personality. Our family has a cabin up there, and it’s literally the only place I can reset everything. Favorite place to go is anywhere on the Big T River with a fly rod in hand. But their movie theater is the bomb, too.
2. It’s no secret that you’re a sports fan, but what team is your favorite team to support? Why?
I’m really just a competition junkie, haha. For baseball it’s the St. Louis Cardinals. I love the Cardinals because when I was very little my Dad and Grandpa always took me to the games, I have my Grandpa’s 1967 Cardinals World Series Champ pennant he got at the winning game when he was a boy. For football it will always and has always been the Denver Broncos. I loved watching John Elway play when I was younger.
3. Movies or books? And what was your favorite of your answer from last year?
Can I say TV shows? As far as a book I couldn’t put down it would be “No Easy Day”. TV shows are my vice though. I love “Gold Rush”! Parenthood, Newsroom, Breaking Bad, and Downton Abbey are my DVR picks.

4. Tell me the most embarrassing thing about Troy (that won’t get you in too much trouble for sharing).
Oh boy, this is going to be a hard question… I have a story from college. Troy and I use to workout at the school gym together and we would do elevated sit ups and toss a medicine ball back and forth to add weight but really it was just to look cool, so one day Troy was on the bench and I was throwing the ball. A girl who will remain nameless right now comes into the gym. Troy had been trying to catch this girls eye, and had been playing his game strong on campus all week. As soon as she walked into the gym Troy saw her, he decided to do sit ups a little faster now, all while I’m throwing a 20lb ball at his face. While Troy is trying to catch her eye with a huge smile on his face he comes up to catch the ball but instead he’s staring off and I throw the ball and it slams him in the face all while this girl is watching us. I couldn’t help but laugh, everyones saw it, and heres Troy laying there trying to recover from a 20 lb ball catching his face and trying to stay cool and pretend it didn’t happen… Oh yeah and the girl in the story is now my wife.
5. Last question, who would win in an epic comic battle: Batman or Spiderman?
Are you kidding me?!! BATMAN DUH!! du na na na da na na na BATMAN!
