The True Meaning of Photoshop

In a world of botox, injections, and lifts, it seems photoshop editing is getting quite redundant. Doesn’t it? When I get an artist’s latest album artwork in my inbox, I now must proceed with caution.  The artists, who spend thousands on stylists, make up, and hair products, are wasting their money.  The product is so touched up, the subjects are hardly recognizable.  And the latest victims of this over-treatment is the latest crop of Christmas albums prepping release (yes, I am talking to you Mariah Carey – I couldn’t even bring myself to put that up here, but I am sure with a simple Google search, you’ll find it).

What kind of message does this kind of editing send? And right around the holidays?? Merry Christmas Baby Jesus.
