Chris grew up in Denver but relocated to Nashville in 2010 where he manages Lyft's transit, bike, and scooter customer experience team and spends time discovering ways to make the most of life. 2020 was a year of great challenges. We tackled su 2020 was a year of great challenges. We tackled surgeries, emergency room visits, a destructive tornado in our city, a global pandemic, cancelled plans, adjusting to work from home, social injustices, political chaos, a terrorist attack on Christmas morning that took down the block that I visited every work day for almost 5 years, and general anxiety that mounted with the impounding stresses that this year brought. It was not a year I wish to relive anytime soon. 🤦‍♂️ But despite that long list of bad came some incredible highlights that I often forgot to celebrate. I spent more quality time with @joe__face, our sweet pups, and some of my closest friends than planned. I was recognized as one of the ‘Top Trailblazing Customer Experience Leaders’ of the year. I learned what it means to be a true ally and how to stand up for the things I ultimately believe in. I learned how to be humble and admit when I have made mistakes and will continue to own them as we march into a new year. And I started a fitness journey at @7minutesfitness that helped me shed more than 20 pounds, improve my mental health, and gave me a new perspective on how to care for myself. Come to think of it, I crushed this year and ultimately I survived. ✊ I know this year was not easy for anyone and that many experienced loss like no other. I look towards 2021 as a time to start a new. Let’s forgive ourselves for the wrongs we’ve done in the past. Let’s take care of ourselves and others with the respect we deserve. And let’s approach life with more love, more kindness, and more strength. 💪 Goodbye 2020 and Happy New Year! 🥂

5 YEARS! ⑤ As I celebrate the milestone of bein 5 YEARS! ⑤ As I celebrate the milestone of being a part of the @lyft team for 5 years today, I can’t help but be reminded of the memories and people that have been a part of my story thus far. From the first time I walked through the door in the new Nashville-based office to manage the company’s first social media support team out of an old supply closet, I knew I was in for a wild “ride.” 🚘 Since that day, I’ve had the pleasure of managing more than 60 incredible team members, met countless four-legged friends, led our first LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, launched our support org for the company’s new Transit, Bikes, and Scooters line of business, traveled all over the country, spoken at a handful of conferences, thrown “shade” like it was my full-time job, and learned a lot from some of the coolest and smartest people in the biz. Many whom I now only refer to as friends.  ✅ After a crazy challenging year, it’s been amazing to pause and remember some of the incredible memories I’ve made over the past five. To all those who have been a part of my journey so far and that will be in the future, it’s been an absolute pleasure. #TeamLyft #MakeItHappen 💓

And since that day, we've shared holidays, hosted game nights, celebrated promotions, experienced loss, laughed, danced, sang cheesy 80's songs, dined out, ordered in, showed our Pride, survived a f*cking pandemic, and so much more! So as we close the chapter on their Straightway story today, we know ours is far from over. 💛 Congratulations Beau and Suz on your new home! We cannot wait to start our new normal with some of our very best friends from "just 3 miles away!" 🥃🥂

Superstitious… who said that?! 😬 Fingers cro Superstitious… who said that?! 😬 Fingers crossed for the permanent removal of Jamie Spears from the conservatorship that has removed @britneyspears civil rights and silenced her for over 13 years. Over the past few months, we have heard evidence of a horrifying reality from those who have come forward to break their silence, including Britney herself. A diehard fan since she stepped on the scene in 1998 and followed every step of her journey along the way, I’m heartbroken over the things she’s endured as a result of mistakes she made as a young adult. Today, #JudgeBrendaPenny has a chance to start the process of freeing this iconic pop star and let the healing begin. 💔 In the words of Britney herself (to the judge earlier this year), “It’s been 13 years and it’s enough.” #FreeBritney

What a fantastic way to celebrate pride month after a year of virtual celebrations! 🌈
