Cassadee Pope took the stage at the Girls of Winter event at Nashville’s City Winery tonight. It was a first on NBC’s smash competition series The Voice. Four celebrity coaches sat with their backs turned to hopefuls, listening to and hand-picking voices they thought could take their teams to the end of the season. Those that gave up hope that NBC’s hit series The Voice would deliver a star, after the first two season’s winners failed to launch, can rest easier now. Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope‘s first single since the show drops today (it hit iTunes late last night). The single “Wasting All These Tears” is the first from the singer’s debut solo album, which will drop later this fall. Since its release, the single has been shooting up the charts – currently #5 on iTunes country chart and quickly climbing.
