Your New Island Hit List

If you’re going to go travelling at any point in your life, even if it be for a short about of time for a holiday, you should definitely create your own island hit list sort of thing. There are so many different and beautiful islands in this world that people need to be exploring, yet so many are going to the mainstream countries that everyone is flocking to. What does this equal? It equals a hell of a lot of tourists, and the same sort of holiday no matter what part of the world you go to. But if you were to start going to the smaller islands where few people are focusing their attention, you would have the most amazing time. Each one offers something different, and offers you an experience that you just won’t forget. But if you haven’t really thought about the idea of going on an island holiday, then you probably won’t even know where to start in terms of location. Luckily for you, we do, so here’s our hit list that we think you should be using for the year!

Borneo

Borneo is the place to go this year if you ask us. There’s just so much potential there, and so many things that you could be doing whilst you’re there. It has become really popular with backpackers and volunteers, mainly because there’s such beautiful wildlife, and it’s such a deprived island that does need help. You could check out links such as https://outbackventure.com/sandakan-tours/, and book yourself onto a guided tour to get a better look at the island, or you could go to one of the orangutan sanctuaries to have a look at the hard work people are doing there. Or, you could go and spend your days relaxing on the beach, with the beach bar not far away, and loving the fact that you’re on one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

Seychelles

Seychelles is one of the more popular islands to visit for tourists at the minute, and we’re really not surprised as to why. It offers beauty like none of the others can, and the landscape will truly blow your mind. There are plenty of outdoorsy things to do whilst in the Seychelles, but one you have to try is a snorkelling trip. The waters are amongst some of the bluest and the warmest in the world, and the wildlife you’ll see on a snorkelling trip really will be amazing. Take in the culture as well, because the Seychelles are rich with it. There’s so many different towns to explore, and memories to be made.

Bora Bora

We didn’t think it would be right to talk about islands in the world, without talking about Bora Bora. If you want to do it like the people on Instagram, you would have to spend a fortune to get there. But, there are plenty of ways that you can do Bora Bora within a reasonable budget, even if it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It offers much of the same that the others would, expect it really is notorious of its calm vibe, beautiful white sand beaches, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained throughout the day.
