First Listen: Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea “Pretty Girls”

IT’S HERE!!! The new single from Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea!

For months, the hype has built in anticipation of the new single from pop music’s Princess, Britney Spears, and the female rap goddess Iggy Azalea. The wait is over… “Pretty Girls” drops on Monday featuring both artist’s signature sounds coming together to create one epic summer jam. The chanted, anthemic chorus is a female empowered hook, while Britney delivers her recognizable vocal throughout the beat driven verses. Azalea’s presence is felt throughout the song, but when the track reaches her rap verse during the song’s breakdown, she proves why she’s one of the most talked about artists of the last 5 years.

The track, written by Azalea, the members of UK girl group Little Mix and Maegan Cottone, is pop perfection! The music video, which is an ode to the the 80’s cult classic Earth Girls Are Easy starring Geena Davis, is set to debut on May 11th, days before the ladies take the stage to perform the single for the first time on the Billboard Music Awards on May 17th.
